She could hear the inevitable whispers of teens that walked by, their snickers growing louder with every step. Sophie had to deal with all this torment, not just at home. So basically, Sophie's life was a living hell. She held herself strong, humbly searching through her locker for her textbooks. She pushed through the sea of wild teenagers, just as the bell rang in her ears. ~ Sophie couldn't help but notice the small groups of people, whispering nonstop about a particular topic. As nosy as she was, she fought the urge to ask her fellow classmates what was going on, considering they were probably talking about her. She gave a weary sigh, leaning her head over to a conversation nearby. "Excuse me?" Sophie gently tapped a fellow classmate on the shoulder. "Yes?" The girl shifted in Sophie's direction, her gum smacking against her jaw. Sophie tried her best to ignore the loud, endless chewing. "What is everyone whispering about?" She raised her head up briefly, indicating of the small convos throughout the entire classroom. "Oh. Everyone is talking about this new boy. I heard he's hot." The girl and her friend began to tickle each others' fingers, their loud squeals ringing in Sophie's ears. "Oh. Okay." Sophie leaned back against her chair, letting out a long sigh. Well, at least they weren't talking about her.
